Alongside perhaps some the world’s greatest culinary masters such as Alain Senderens, Guy Martin, Michel Guérard, and Eric Frechon, Justin Schmitt was trained at the school of the greats before he departed on a global tour to fully embrace an understanding of the endless techniques that different cultures around the world have with food and its preparation.

Justin Schmitt’f first professional endeavor as an executive chef was at Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, before a brief involvement with the Parisian institution “Laurent”. Schmitt now takes on the challenge of adapting his creativity to the shores of the Mediterranean, continuing the momentum of Château Eza’s established recognition to a new age of culinary ingenuity.

It is with much enthusiasm that we welcome back patrons and new guests to join us on this next chapter of our gastronomic endeavor at Château Eza.

The 18-seat lounge bar and adjacent 20-seat outdoor terrace create a warm and inviting atmosphere with cobblestone walls where guests and visitors can enjoy a great selection of handcrafted cocktails, teas, coffees and snacks, whilst admiring one of the most magnificent panoramic views of the French Riviera.

The restaurant features two small balconies, each with four seats, providing a highly exclusive dining experience with the opportunity to host private dinners. It is a perfect place for wedding requests, anniversaries and other special occasions.

Additionally, there is a private dining room able to accommodate 16 people, which also features its own private terrace with superb sea views. It is an ideal venue to host intimate weddings and corporate events.

Château Eza also includes a Wine Cave, where our experienced sommeliers organize degustation menus with wine pairing.
